Question about Trap Use Skill

Hi,

Does the Hard Ranks in Trap Use include Skill focus and Epic Skill Focus? or is it just your base skills placed into the skill?

Hard ranks will solely be the points you placed on each level-up. I can't remember any mechanic that doesn't follow this hard and fast rule.
