Indiana Jones traps in Canyon of the Lost Kings
What purpose do they serve but to waste your time? It's not like you can disable them, so even if you have Harrison Ford in your party that doesn't help.
Re: Indiana Jones traps in Canyon of the Lost Kings
It's thematic and cool.

We need rolling boulder traps. The technology is there.
Re: Indiana Jones traps in Canyon of the Lost Kings
Non-removable traps can still be flagged to be seen, and hopefully avoided, by other characters.

These cannot. Many cannot.
Personally I don't mind them though. Would like if there was a way to disarm them elsewhere for the rest of the party, much like Cordor crypts where you can send your rogue ahead to open the door to avoid traps. That kinda stuff is really fun, imo.

I bet this is waiting for the hat update.

I really like traps, but not so much for non-removable traps....

Non-removable but still-circumventable via some method or other (like the Cordor crypts one) is good design though.
