Can you own more than one quarter in a building.

I recently found 4 rooms in a building that were for sale and bought all four of them spending 10,000 gold for all 4. the next RL day, I went to the rooms and 3 of them are saying that they are still for sale but I can open the doors with no issues. I also bought keys for the doors and they all work. When I open the chests in the rooms, I get the "don't forget the stealing rule" message. Is there a limit on how many rooms you can rent in a building?

A reminder to the players of Arelith. You are permitted to own property per Player, not per Playername, not per Character. You are permitted to own the following combinations.

1 - Guild House | Room within Guild House | Shop Associated with Guild House OR Individual Shop
2 - House | Shop Attached to House OR Individual Shop (If your House has a Shop attached. You must own that shop. You cannot buy a shop elsewhere)
3 - Room | Individual Shop
4 - Vault | Individual Shop

Guild House is one category of property. Shop is one category of property. House / Room / Vault are one category of property. You are permitted to own ONE from any category of property.

Any player suspected to own multiple properties of a single category shall be released from ownership.

As in you the player are allowed 1 room.

I'd encourage you to make yourself familiar with the rules, they are readily available to find on the Wiki and will help you avoid any other issues.
