Poisoning Wells Suggestion

Instead of poisoning individual PCs who can either shrug it off or die at level 3, have it work closer to a ritual effect.

The citizenry (NPCs) fall sick and this could have a number of potential effects that could be implemented as a -x to a skill similar to the -heal ritual. For example trade/currency could be negatively affected during the mass sickness in the short term causing a zonewide -appraise debuff.

I'd figure a change like this would be reasonably easy to implement as the code for rituals can do this already. It could tie into the settlement system but that might be overly complex.

I think the wells should have to be very public, not in someone's home. This is both to reflect the wide amount of citizens using it and adding risk to being spotted.

I think poisoning individual food/drink should remain the same.

Note: I haven't messed with this mechanic in years and don't know of any changes to it, if I missed one I'm sorry.
