Currently the armor of the wilds allows nature based races as the craft able race.
Right now there is only one metal weapon that can be crafted by the fey race itself, which requires smithing. Considering that iron and anything that contains it, like steel, are toxic, painful and repel fey quite effectively, meeting a fey smith is quite the rare occasion.
Suggestion:
If possible I would like to see in general more racially craftable items that can include Fey.
However I feel the armor of the wild thematically fits and would also fit better with the lore of D&D (correct me if I am wrong here) Fey are also primarily a nature based race.
