This suggestion is to allow PCs with focus in the Divination school of magic to foretell prophecies.
What is a prophecy? It would work very similar to how Factions OOC Messages work, except it would be In Character, and only DMs would be able to write the messages. PCs with a focus in Divination would have access to these messages. This would be a useful tool for DMs, as it lets them give direction to the community in a new and interesting way. DMs could use it to gather players at certain times, point them in new directions, or spread the word about their events to players that might not normally hear about them.
An example:
A DM writes a prophecy that "On the peak of Harvesttide, the Moon's Curse shall fall out of sequence. Despair shall herald a hunt."
Epic Diviner types -prophecy in chat. They perform a mystical motion, and begin to read the skeins of fate.
A menu pops up, not unlike a Message Board with a list of Prophecies. The player sees the prophecy the DM has written.
Later, sometime in the middle of the Harvesttide, the DM might spawn a legion of werewolves in the Forest of Despair and send them out on the prowl.
