In a surprise move, Bat Country posts an update clearly intended for some environment other than Arelith, as the word "ship" does not come up even once.
If you're playing a character or acting as a player that mistakes principle for intransigence, you never wanted a Roleplay server.

The towershield +4 had it's -1 cha removed because no sane player in their right mind would ever use it on the designated divine classes otherwise.

Barbarian is still overpowered and still has it's dodge AC bonus.... for now.

Div Rogues still laying in their own guts, wondering what went wrong. A few Assassins, harpers and zhents are whistling innocently in response.

Leveling is now very fast, but no longer stupendously fast.

Also among the updates there will be a red gem which will allow arelithians to raid other neverwinter servers. High magic levels and high level cap on some of them remains a concern. It is unclear whether reverse raid will be possible.

-Rogue now has 4 base apr.
-Monk can now cast Divine Power and Scry.
-Your dreams of being an Earthkin Defender Orog can now come true - not that you have any choice.
-All of the gods in FR just got much stronger.
-Phychoactive food was added to the game. Now you can be a merchant, sailor, leader and a professional dog-walker better than before, by eating something entirely mundane...or is it... Coming soon: More craftable drugs.
-Enchantment Specialist, now comes to Arelith with a bag of Hopium in character creation.
-Blackguard joined the damage stacking spells hype train.
-Earthkin Defender no longer bugged. Suddenly appears a stream of disappointed players who didnt know about the bug all this time.
-We no longer need to turn off -notells to get our raise denied by our defeated foe. Now they can just refuse it via the game.

  • And then balance will reign, and the server, and all the players, will bow to me and use cookie-cutter builds in loving gratitude.

Warlocks rejoice as sequencer gives them another tool to buy the souls of those wanting forbidden spells on their class specific sequencers.

Specialists can now help each other out more or just beg their local generalist
