So as some of you may have noticed, we moved into the better, final place recently. While most of it's done, there's still lots of unpacking to do. But I'll be around more.

As it turns out, the Internet quality isn't as good as I was hoping in my new home. I'll be gone for 6 months, becoming a RL monk.

Windows 10 is truly as evil as the common saying goes, having managed something that Ubuntu, 7, Vista, and even XP could not: Damage a system component.
My video card has entered a state of limbo in which I can't really use it anymore, and there's no W10 drivers for the on-board video card. And very much like my video card, seems I'll be stuck in limbo until I dig myself out of this ditch.

At least Discord is still working!

Won't be around much for the next couple weeks due to RL time constraints. Sorry to those with whom Malcolm has open plots, but he'll be back to business soon.

Are you sure the component didn't just fail

I don't really see how exactly windows 10 could damage a hardware component.

Due RL takes over my life, i cant play Arelith any longer, its takes too much time. It was nice 10++ years to spend here with few brakes, but this time i think wont return, not the mood but the lack of time to play here properly.

Wow so unfortunately this was much more optimistic than the reality, recent playtime has been shot in the course of getting into the rhythm of things here. Apologies to all those who I've missed, I didn't expect to have Moira effectively shelved the past two weeks. We'll see what comes of the next two, hopefully more combined playtime and motivation after work, otherwise will look at wrapping things up. Fingers crossed.

My computer is functional again. Pending some software updates and a data port of all my stuff from my external hard drive to my tower, I'm back in business.

My motherboard died

Josidiah will be taking a break for a little while. Real life demands more attention. Hope to be back before too long.

I will be away for some time with our switch over to EE. Sorry to those in the play with Piper, hope it won't disrupt things too much. I will return eventually, but not sure how long it will be until I can get finances stable enough to spend on a game.

Damien Oneknife might not be online for any theater plays in the Nomad on sunday. Graphical crashes in the new improved EE blocks me from playing Arelith.
