A flying race.

I love how dragons (and maybe harpies?) ascend into the air and land elsewhere, the whole concept of jump infantry is too cool to pass up.

5%~10% size increase, or decrease over base race.

Yeah... It would basically be the most metal thing ever.

Incredibly difficult to balance a feature like flight but I really think this is the kind of thing 5% chances are for.

I'd love to see more normal rewards. Right now it's really either monster race, non-evil PM or an xp boost via Guld or -2ECL.

It'd be great to see an overhauled version of the backgrounds feature one could use as a normal. There's so many options that could convey slight mechanical/thematic bonuses that would be fun.

-Scholar
-Merchant
-Diplomat (bluff/perform/persuade,
-Priest (piety gain boost, consecration maybe)?
-Explorer (randomly know x portals at char creation)

These backgrounds could convey minor skill boosts and RP value. With Loremaster there's all these interesting elements like preserving scrolls, with the Earth Genesai you've got mining more resources. You could incorporate some of these really subtle but fun passive benefits to different backgrounds.

Another funny thing could be insomnia or the inverse where your rest counter goes down either slightly slower or faster.

Re Normal Award - thyis is a really good point and is something that's being worked on. Watch this space.

Tannaruk and Fey'ri

More greater awards - currently you can choose deep imaskari, yuan-ti and non-human genasi.

Genasi specially, is less attractive now that you can spend a normal award in a human genasi.

Perhaps lowering one or two of the initial greater awards back to the greater tier would not be a bad idea - ogre, firbolg, aasimar or tiefling (May be missing something).

MAJOR AWARD: Dirty Fighting

Get a second attack with the dirty fighting feat

Knowing that they exist in HAKS it would be cool to play a peg-leg character or allow a cursed character have hoven feet or some other strange, ghastly abnormality. Both providing stat negatives and positives.

Was chatting in one of my many Discords yesterday and thought of a new system for adversarial player characters. This is similar to a system that the Ravenloft server uses. Essentially it would be a series of playable races that players could use a 5% roll on. The intent of these characters would be to serve as "big bads" for player characters. Think things like, Beholders, Illithids, etc. Sentient beings that are just plain dagnasty evil in so many ways that it wouldn't really be feasible as full playable characters. Players would be limited to one of these at a time and the character would have a strict timeline to avoid exploits. These characters would start at a higher level, potentially max level or even higher than 30 so that it would require a group of people to take them down.

Normal Award: Start with accommodation in your starting location (must be your only PC with accommodation, must maintain it as normal, etc.)
Greater Award: Start with a shop in your starting location (must be your only PC with a shop, must maintain it as normal, etc.)
Major Award: Start with a shop AND accommodation in your starting location (must be your only PC with accommodation/store, must maintain it as normal, etc.)

It’d be cool to be able to unlock one non class skill and make it a class skill with an award of some tier.

Gain a feat of choice or unlock a couple skills
