Clerics being given another path to choose to establish a true battlecleric stereotype.

Paladins being given another path make them greater healers and debuffers.

Paladins can give up divine might/shield for an exclusive path that lets them "hold" a tome (i.e. empty off-hand). It offers them bonuses scaling with WIS.

This belongs is "What the updates really mean".

Also, no one said clerics are going to be bonkers now. I actually sense that free Haste means all or most of the already popular domains (except travel) will get nerfed accordingly to compensate. Oh and you do realize monks get screwed by Aura vs Alignment right? You probably mean CoT.
