What's your top five "I hate having to fight these" enemies in the game? Mine would definitely have to be any form of multiply-on-death slimes, so black puddings and slithering trackers. Between the two? Good god, the trackers are so much more annoying.

My next two come from the same dungeon! The mage and the monk malformed shades in shade asylum. The monks are at least useful if you're a necro or a palemaster who can control undead them and use them against the rest of the dungeon.

Finally? Probably the level-drain-on-hit ancient children from manor of mourn. I know it's easy to ward against this, but the moment neg en drops you're down 6 levels.

The worst part is is I do it to myself. These are three of my favorite dungeons

Mine will have to be taken from the point of view of a non-30 character doing their stuff in an area that's supposed to be manageable at their level for writ-related purposes.

Having Greater gargoyles fly at you inside the Last king tomb in Sibayad, after the puzzle
Nelanthar hedge mages throwing dispels like there's no tomorrow in Kholingen
Still in Kholingen, the double boss glitch happens way too often with the Lich on the roof

Those the guys in the library/that randomly spawn near the shadow bhaalspire? They're... reasonable to fight with a team of 3 guys as long as one of them is tanky, but they are annoying

Oooh, the reavers will nail you.

Also want to put in a good word for the dispel spamming broketooth mages and their hard hitting friends the broketooth fanatics. For a level 8-16 writ, those guys can really tear you apart.

Vampire Children are my most hated.
They have ungodly AB. They hit in the 80s without even critting.
They have undead immunities but no undead weaknesses (can't heal them to death).

Acid Sheath slimes that spam Slow or sometimes Paralyze spell. Completely OP and broken.

Also lots of enemies that have far more AB than is reasonable. Vamp children, Minmir Reavers, those temple of doom guys in the Deep Wells.

Flying things that fly to where you were, and then you have to run back there and just stand there waiting for them to land.

Those oozey slime things, like in the burning shore that take forever to kill and then just multiply when you kill them.

Things that can spam disjunctions.

Phaerimms. Abulon has nothing on them.

Suicidal animals with absolutely no survival instinct that roam main roads hoping to 'Die by Adventurer'.

The undead adventurer in forest of despair. He becomes the bane of my existence once a year or so when I forget he’s there. He’s followed me across 10+ transitions before. You think you got away, but he just keeps coming.

Talassian Evokers.

There's never just one.

And they're telepathic, so they start crawling out of the woodwork with missile storms, from across the map.

Anything that can consistently and severely harm my summons to the point its just not worth even trying.

I think they might have had the spell removed, but remember when the priests at Blackfin used to fire off sanctuary and just sit there for the whole duration every time? So annoying
