New player, great server

Hello, I just mainly wanted to say hello. I am playing Beckham, a Divinationist Wizard. I dont plan on multiclassing so with spot not as a class skill, I'll probabbly be not too great
. I'll probabbly be looking to join a mage guild if the oppertunity arises.
The playerbase is very helpful, DMs are very responsive and helpfull, and I got full immeresed into the world. Looking forward to what Arelith brings and what I am able to contribute.

Well your DCs will be mildly higher than everyone else(I think) so that's something!

Welcome OP! Thankfully there are two huge mage guilds and smaller arcane-based groups around, so you'll easily find what you're looking for.

Sadly (or maybe a good thing?) that it doesn't work like that.

Divination specialist is one of the premier wizard specialisations, with or without spot. Good choice!

Welcome, I highly encourage you and anyone new to Arelith to follow the cookie-cutter builds that can be found in the builds and mechanics section of the forum or the wiki. Have a look at these builds and modify them to suit your RP concept better.

The “dip” (3 levels of multiclass) doesn’t have to be ranger, but it can be any Discipline enabling class such as:
Bard
Monk (requires lawful)
Specialist (requires a Skill Focus feat)
Fighter
Even Warlock or Barbarian

Be sure to give your character the spell focus: divination, greater spell focus: divination and (at levels 21-30) epic spell focus: divination feats to be able to do lots of interesting Arelith-specific things like read people's auras, perform divination on murder scenes and scry people anywhere on your server.
