Ukraine Crisis.

Many of us play on Arelith as a form of escape, to avoid for a time the pains, troubles and confusion of real life. In these days particularly, there's a lot to free from. But even as I log in to play, I sometimes find my mind falls to other troubles in the world. Arelith is a place where we are, at least to a degree, empowered, where we can fight monsters, take part in crucial decisions. Real life, alas, is far more complicated, and fare less empowering.
To help with that, just a little – for those who wish to, and can afford to, I have a selection of links provided by DM Snowcat to help with the ongoing crisis in the Ukraine. We don't usually touch much on real life politics – and I don't want to now (nor do I wish to see any more on the forums, I put this up with no small amount of waryness) which is why this topic has been immediately locked.
I do hope that we can agree that the suffering of civilians, especially children, is a terrible thing though and we should work to ease it where we can. If you can't, or won't donate- that's fine. It's not what you're here for, after all, so just let your eyes slide off this post and get on with something else. But if you can and want to – here's a few links to help.
