ChatGPT generated prayer
Howdy!
I recently posted a prayer on IC stories that i made to a dwarven deity; then after finding out this thing called ChatGPT, i decided to ask it to write a prayer to Moradin to see how far can it go.
And 'lo and behold, I was amazed by it lol
Great Moradin, god of dwarves,
Craftsman and creator,
We honor and praise your name.
Your skill and strength are unmatched,
Your wisdom and guidance invaluable.
May your hammer strike true,
Your creations endure through time,
Your wisdom guide us through challenges.
Grant us the courage and strength to face adversity,
the skill to craft and create,
and the wisdom to use them justly.
We thank you for your blessings and ask for your guidance,
now and always.
May your glory shine forever.
Ain't that legit as heck? lol

Lolth, the Spider Queen,
Goddess of Shadows, of Spiders and of Sin,
She dwells within the Demonweb Pits,
Her dark and twisted realm within.
She is revered by the drow,
A race of evil elves, who live in the Underdark,
They pray to her and offer sacrifices,
In hopes that she will keep them safe from harm.
Lolth is a deity of deceit,
Her webs ensnare the unwary and the weak,
She delights in the suffering of others,
And revels in the darkness that she seeks.
Beware the Spider Queen,
For those who anger her will know her wrath,
She is a goddess not to be trifled with,
Lolth, the Queen of the Demonweb Pits.
--------------------------------
Vhaeraun, the Masked Lord,
God of thieves, of drow males, and of conquest,
He is the son of Lolth, the Spider Queen,
But he seeks a different path from the rest.
He desires power and dominance,
And seeks to leave the Underdark behind,
He plots and schemes to conquer the surface,
Leaving his drow kin far behind.
But Vhaeraun is not without his followers,
The drow males who seek a way out,
They pray to him and offer sacrifices,
In hopes that he will guide them to power and route.
Beware the Masked Lord,
For he is a deity of ambition and deceit,
Vhaeraun, the god of thieves and drow males,
Who seeks to conquer and defeat.
I love this.

I hope people will use this as inspiration to learn the form/technique to write their own sermons and prayers, instead of just punching in something and using whatever it spits out.legionetrangere wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 7:20 pmI'm 100% positive that this thing will help enhance the server's RP through these little perks and details we can add by using it. lol

Re: ChatGPT generated prayer
Yeah, I'm impressed. I asked the bot to convince the Whipmistress to set up a place of worship in Skal, in a letter form from my character, and well, this is what came out:
Dear Whipmistress Leeahn,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you to share my thoughts on the potential for followers of Loviatar on the frozen island of Skal.
As you know, Skal is a harsh and unforgiving place, with long, cold winters and a harsh landscape that can be difficult to navigate. Despite these challenges, I believe that there is great potential for the worship of Loviatar on Skal.
The people of Skal are a hardy and resilient people, who have learned to survive in this harsh environment through strength and determination. They value discipline and strength, and I believe that the teachings of Loviatar would be well received by them.
Furthermore, the people of Skal are known for their fierce loyalty and dedication to their families and communities. I believe that the principles of loyalty and devotion to duty, which are so important to Loviatar, would resonate with these people and help to strengthen their bonds with one another.
In conclusion, I believe that the frozen island of Skal has great potential for the worship of Loviatar. I hope that you will consider my thoughts and perhaps consider establishing a temple or altar on the island to bring the teachings of Loviatar to these dedicated and loyal people.
Sincerely,
Otilia
Priestess of Loviatar

Agreed. Though I think the doors to Chat GPT's overuse were open on the 30th of november lol.Eira wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 7:51 pmI hope people will use this as inspiration to learn the form/technique to write their own sermons and prayers, instead of just punching in something and using whatever it spits out.legionetrangere wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 7:20 pmI'm 100% positive that this thing will help enhance the server's RP through these little perks and details we can add by using it. lol

i'm a simple manWrite me a poem about Harambe (a ficticious gorilla) going to college to study applied mathematics so he could become a scientist then finding his one true love. Make sure to put a lot of references to advanced mathematics topics too
Harambe the gorilla was a bright and curious beast
He had a thirst for knowledge, and a love for math at least
He wanted to understand the world in a more profound way
So he set off to college, to learn and grow each day
He studied calculus, and algebra with glee
He tackled trigonometry, with ease and efficiency
He delved into geometry, and topology too
And as he learned more, his love for math just grew
But Harambe's journey was not just about his mind
He also wanted to find love, of the most special kind
So he looked around, at all the other beasts
But none of them quite matched, with the love he'd release
Then one day, as he walked through the quad
He saw a beautiful gorilla, who made his heart glad
She was studying physics, and her mind was sharp
Harambe knew then, she was the one he'd keep in his heart
So they started dating, and their love just grew
They tackled math together, and their bond just grew and grew
And as they graduated, they knew what they would do
They'd get married, and solve math as a team, forever true
So Harambe the gorilla, became a scientist with glee
And with his one true love, their math adventures were just beginning, you see.
i laugh at simple things

Re: ChatGPT generated prayer
I'd rather people use this than quote song lyrics for bard RP. People who don't want to spend the effort to write already don't. Eagerly awaiting the bot to use an esoteric word incorrectly that the person pasting it doesn't understand, and awkward situations resulting from it.Eira wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 7:51 pmI hope people will use this as inspiration to learn the form/technique to write their own sermons and prayers, instead of just punching in something and using whatever it spits out.legionetrangere wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 7:20 pmI'm 100% positive that this thing will help enhance the server's RP through these little perks and details we can add by using it. lol

Time for a prayer to Torm to use the exact same kind of wording as a prayer to Bane, just with the names and a few details switched. >:DParty in the forest at midnight wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 8:53 pmI'd rather people use this than quote song lyrics for bard RP. It got cranky at me when I asked it to do evil gods and wouldn’t do it
