UD Kudos to Hub Happenings

Tonight Martin was going about his usual chores and was walking through the Hub only to find a human woman, Azamora Vex, being chased and cornered by Grogak the duergar, Bre'en the drow and Krby the goblin. My first thought was "Oh great, someone else has decided to try a slave or Outcast! New blood!" So Martin goes to find out what's happening, not seeing a collar on the woman, he assumes she's an Outcast.

Long story short, the duergar wanted to enslave her, the drow to torture her and the goblin, cook her and eat her, so Martin tries his best to thwart this by convincing the UDers that the woman is infected with a highly contagious disease and should be quickly escorted out of the city, by himself, to keep the UD population safe. Thankfully, the UDers buy it (or rather play along).

Once we are near the gates, the player of Azamora sends me a tell asking how to emote. I then ask her if she's new to Arelith. She explains she's new to NWN, this is her FIRST NIGHT playing NWN ever ... and she didn't know why she was in the Underdark when she was only just in Cordor before she experienced a power outage.

Well ... let me just say her RP in such a confused state on a game brand new to her was fantastic, as was that of Grogak and Krby. I had a blast taking her the long way out of the Underdark, up through the gnoll caves, through Myon's forests, on to Bendir and back down to Cordor. It was just a joy to experience Arelith through a brand new player's eyes.

She chose this server after reading that it had a high standard of RP and I think we are most fortunate to have her.
