On behalf of myself and others who play in the Grotto, I just want to say thanks for the great addition. I love the new buildings and the addition of some local shops is really amazing. It gives the area a much more svirfy feel to it. I've always thought that the Grotto was one of the most beautiful places to explore and RP in and it already offers a lot of stuff. However, hopefully this extra area will encourage people to explore it more and hang around a little bit instead of running between the portals.
Also, now that the east wing is open, my own quarters is now visible to the entire Grotto. The question is, does this encourage me to increase or decrease my characters semi-nude fighting form practices.
