A Rose Blossoms Its Last

Post by benedict overencumberbatch » Mon Mar 28, 2022 4:02 am

This has been a long time coming, seeing as I've not seriously played in some time, but I never did get around to this.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of Roselyn's story. For two incredible years, I got to be a part of some of the best storytelling, and meet some of the most engaging characters, and discover some of the most talented writers I've ever had the pleasure of collaborating with.

Maybe some time later I'll come back and revise this into a proper kudos when I'm in a better headspace. For now, I'll settle with a thank you.

I'll see you soon.

I've probably told you this a million times at this point, but I'm so glad I was able to be a part of so much of Roselyn's story. Not only did she do so much to develop Lily as a character, but you consistently pushed me to be a better roleplayer as well.

Thank you for some absolutely amazing memories <3

Even though we didn't interact all that often, Roselyn is definitely a memorable character and you're a super talented RPer. I wish you the best of luck in your life and I hope that eventually you're up to coming back and gracing us on the server with one of your characters again. Much love! <3

Rose was definitely a big driver and source of conflict for my PC. Thank you for being you and I wish you the best in all things to come!

what a legendary PC - so much gravitas, detail, and powerful sense of purpose. she always felt like an endless book of mystery, ever scheming and drawing others into her fold. one of the great movers and shakers. a true villain - the likes of vippin and ann thrule. congrats to you!

On both characters I’ve had significant development with you. More so on Theo than Emma, but across both characters you’ve been a joy. Even if Theo and Rose ended up on opposite sides, the stories we told over the time together were great. Including their constant arguing and disagreements. I wish you all the best, whether it is on Arelith or elsewhere. Don’t be a stranger.

Currently playing:
Thomas Castemont - Active

Liv McDowall - Shelved
Theodor Helbrecht - Rolled
Emma Young - Rolled
Ember Joyleaf-Underfoot - Rolled

I only really got to meet Roselyn once, which was at the Reaver housing warming party, before I took a break from Arelith and things had significantly changed by the time I returned. That said it was always joy to the Reaver Queen around and read the little snippets of her RP that I saw. Also, your player/login name never fails to get a chuckle from me, I wish you well in whatever is next!

A legendary character, that unfortunately I never really met. The fact I have heard so much however, is a massive kudos to your storytelling abilities! Good work.

I interacted with you too rarely! But snakes is snakes, and all of our snake based rp was very high quality, ten snakes out of ten snakes.

Seriously though, loved Roselyn!

Remember handing in Falco's "Cordor Guard Badge" in with her a long time ago.
You touched many with your RP. Sad to see you go, but there is always another time if it's permitted.

Aremis was more fun to play because of Rosleyn.

See you, Space Cowboy.
