I like the subtlety with which you have drawn the facial features and the hair. Very good!

Haha, I kinda see the gymnast resemble now that you point out out, but it definitely want an intended inspiration.
She's a witch, and ran around with a horned mask until a DM event she happened to be a part of inspired her to toss it aside for good (or so we think). It was quite emotional, though it's not portrayed as such in the drawing.

Re: Drawing Thread Ahead!
Here are a few sketches that I'm reposting from the older forum. They're all pretty much me getting acclimated to digital drawing, and most of them are works in progress... that have a good chance of never being completed. Enjoy!

Cool insight!
I like a lot the face of Brae on your first draw.
You have a fresh and young drawing style. I like the drafts too.

Love the perspective! Especially with the mirror!

The detaills are neat and the mirror allowing her to watch the viewers is a great concept. Makes the drwaw misterious

Mith, since I do not know Brae at all, can you splain the photo? It raises so many questions in my mind. The mirror, the trunk? The skull picture thing?
And don't listen to Mr. Moon (no pun intended) the rear is just fine, hard lines and all.

Re: Drawing Thread Ahead!
Hey! So, in this picture I wanted to capture Brae as a character. I think one of the most compelling parts of a character isn't wether they are good or evil, but rather the mundane tasks they are impulsed to do throughout their lives as our little pixelated play things. Brae is a diva, and is quite vain. When out adventuring I cringe when I type "Oh I'm tired, I should take a nap" as something my character would say. Instead I have Brae busy herself reapplying make-up and fussing with her hair. It's much more true to the character, and more entertaining than a 'nap'.Rattus_norvegicus99 wrote:Mith, since I do not know Brae at all, can you splain the photo? Here she's doing the same but in her apartment in Wharftown. She's applying make-up that is kept in a haphazard manner on the chair, there are dresses slung over things like she can't decide what to wear, and the candles need tending. However- there is something she doesn't think of that waits patiently for her attention. Something that may or may not prove to be an important part of her tumultuous inner turmoil. Brae looks at herself in the mirror and asks "Who am I? Who will I become today? Is it all for naught?"
Behind the beauty lies the chaos.

This sketch was going to be part of an art project that came to a screeching halt after some files were lost.
