Alais Morgan: Priestess of Vengeance

Alais stalked through the woods, each foot carefully set down as she gazed ahead with a frown - her quarry was in sight. A young doe grazing upon wildflowers outside Myon, enjoying the dappled rays of sun that fluttered through the canopies ahead. She took a small breath in, steadying her nerves as she watched the flighty animal graze, hand twitching at her side. Her lips curved into a self-satisfied smile.

This was it. Finally, the chance to prove to Shallan and Edrahi-

*SNAP*

...Sighing, the priestess pushed herself up from the ground, watching as the deer; startled, bounded away from the glade. Birds, squawking loudly fled their nests and rushed into the sharp morning air. A broken branch on the forest floor angrily announcing her presence to all those with ears.

Perhaps she wasn't cut out for this 'sneaking' business.
