A cobbled journey

Post by Elarion » Wed Nov 25, 2020 1:06 pm

Lorcan Cobblelob was simple if anything, why have fancy things, when they will rot within the cycle of their time? Why waste massive amounts of energy, if you could easily spend less, and achieve the same? No need to burden yourself, when the chance to step back was already amply available. Yes, yes. Perfectly simple, and easy to live by. So how exactly, he had ended up in the middle - or back abouts - of a busy Hin village, muttering and blabbering about other kin and fey nonsense, he couldn't quite understand. What pathways had he taken the misstep? Hm, it must have been when he settled for a turf house, over a good formed oak to shelter within, yes. Give it to the Hin, whilst they may have done well for themselves, all things considered, it just wasn't to his way, no.

So, in order to correct these fumbled steps he had tread, he did what was only right, logical, simple and evidently - if one were to take into consideration what lives in this forest -, stupid. He threw away his keys, forgetting all of those had met, and went whistling into the forest, in search of a tree worth helping grow, and perhaps, sleep within.

Who said all ravens had to be clever?

Heh, was fiddling with the build, poor wee guy was just too far behind, in the right areas, and too far ahead in the wrong ones. Lessons learned, cobblelobs spent, but hey, that's what good stories are, lessons in the end. Hope the speech style wasn't too hard to follow for the poor foilks' who he was around!
