Personality:

Erebor was a slave a little smarter than normal, he still has a slightly more robust build than other slaves, much more agile than the others and presents.
Despite this, he still has improved hearing and vision, characteristics that are always hidden from the matriarch and other nobles of the houses.
Over time, he learned to walk around the house unnoticed so as not to be whipped for any reason by any female or noble of the house.
As a slave, nothing was allowed to this one. However, as he was always cleaning the floor, serving a female or arranging something inside the house, he always kept an eye on what was going on and listened to what they said.

Prologue:

During his time of servitude in the house, he could sometimes hear ValSharess ranting about some Shadow Dancers who had gone underground and were attacking members of his house on missions.
I always tried to hear more about the supposed dancers, who worshiped Shevarash, the drow hunter.
“Why didn’t they save him?” he constantly wondered about it.

  • ValSharess Messalin, another one of our platoon was ambushed and eliminated by Hunters...
  • What are you listening to hidden again disgraced Jaluk?
And with that, he already received 5 more lashes in the chest to learn not to hide around the house...
It was not only this one that was vociferated by ValSharess Messalin, there was also an Elf god, follower of Shevarash, who took all the hatred from Ilharess Jocasta.
  • LIKE THIS? JUST ONE ELF... FROM ARC... KILLED EVERYONE IN THE MISSION ???
  • SLAVE!!!!!!
And so he received 5 more lashes...

History: The Archer's Bow

Post by Erebor » Thu Jan 26, 2023 5:28 pm

History: The Archer's Bow

Over time, it was noted that Ilharess Jocasta Krown was deployed to capture or imprison these Hunters and this Archer.
This ended up becoming an obsession for ValSharess Messalin, it seemed that he had received a mission from Lolth herself. And maybe that's how it was...
In one of these missions, it was ordered that the perfect lady Beladria and, in case she was attacked, serve as a shield...
The whole house cheered when she returned with the Arrow...
For a time he was the target of torture inside the dungeons, and he was kept only with the minimum so as not to die and continue to be tortured.
Her bow was also taken, and it appeared to be made of drow parts... Ilharess Jocasta couldn't touch the bow and had to cut the string, which appeared to be made of drow tongue...
Sometimes he would feed that archer, some water and some old food. He paid attention to the cries and prayers of this elf. He never showed emotion, he didn't smile, he didn't cry, only on his clothes was the adornment of a bow with a teardrop.
"The greatest enemy of the Seldarine is Lolth, who sought the corruption of Arvandor and the overthrow of the Maker of Elves. The greatest enemy is the drow, the disgraced followers of the Spider Queen who were long ago enmeshed in her dark web. Redemption and revenge can be achieved by utterly destroying the drow and the dark deities they serve. Only then will the joy of life begin anew. Hunt without fear!"
It's been a while since he heard the prayers of a Shevarash hunter and several times he prayed with him

Story: Shadow Assassins

Story: Shadow Assassins

In a well-coordinated move, Ilharess Jocasta managed to ambush a group of Shadow Assassins terrorizing the underground.
In a difficult battle, he managed to kill only one and capture another, and the rest managed to escape.
The objective had been completed.
The semblance of victory after a long period of battles with them was notorious.
Immediately, Ilharess Jocasta using divine magic, broke both blades of the dead Dancer. He couldn't seem to touch those blades either.
What caught the attention was that these were also Drow, with very dark skin.
The survivor had her hands cut off, arms and legs tied and chained in a cage. On the journey home, this sword dancer was singing some of Eilistraee's songs. And at all times, asking for strength to continue fighting the females of the underground.
The body and the survivor, as well as their blades were left near the cell where the archer was kept.
And as the days passed, he began to notice that Ilharess Jocasta was organizing with the priestesses a ritual on the surface using both the archer, the broken bow, the two dancers and their blades.
And in a short time he would have to go to the surface carrying something or something to take care of...

Story: The Escape

Post by Erebor » Thu Jan 26, 2023 5:29 pm

Story: The Escape

There wasn't much that was allowed to slaves, tending to spiders, carrying equipment, carrying ritual instruments, and simple activities like that. Nothing important would be destined for a useless slave.
For days on end, they walked to the surface carrying the bodies and their equipment and the live dancer trapped inside a cage. Not many were destined for this mission. However, Ilharess Jocasta was present, several priestesses, some warriors, but male there were none, only a few slaves.
At all times, the dancer prayed and sang, it seemed that she still had hope of running away and escaping, or even of getting some help to this...
When they reached the surface, everything was calculated to arrive during the darkest period of the night. Ilharess and the priestesses separated what was necessary for the ritual and left towards a set of stones near the set up camp.
Some female warriors accompanied the Ilharess and others stayed behind to ensure that the slaves did not escape.
After a few hours, when it was almost morning, there was a big explosion and the sound of battle was very audible from the camp, and with that, all the warriors went towards the ritual site.
After some time, the sound of battle began to stop and became silent, but it seemed that no priestess or warriors would return. So this slave went to the place only to notice the slaughter. Several elves and drow dead, and Ilharess was badly wounded.
She seemed exhausted and without any power, seriously injured, she started screaming, ordering help.
The sun was beginning to rise at that moment, there wouldn't be time for many things.
Next to Ilharess was the blades and the bow, all broken there. He kept these equipment as well as one thing or another that he found on the way. He was quickly putting things away while Ilharess screamed and raged with what little strength he had left.
The mental torture carried out in Erebor had not been enough for him to be a blind obedient and with a blade he slashed the Ilharess's neck without any remorse, scratched out the ears and the tongue "perhaps it is necessary to recover these artifacts and ran towards a small forest that was nearby to hide from whoever came and from the sun that was rising...
In fear, Erebor fled Varagon and lost at sea, arrived in SkalJard where he tried to restart his life as J'air'Mess.
Over time, his shadow began to have its own personality, or perhaps two personalities in one body.
At one time he used the name J´air´Mess, at another time Lui´dSilv.
He often forgets facts and names, often appearing to be crazy.
At most, a half laugh, a reminder of the dark times he left behind.

The Shadow killer

Post by Erebor » Thu Jan 26, 2023 5:30 pm

The Shadow killer
An elite group from the church of Shevarash are trained in the art of shadows, they are not only hunters but also powerful fighters.
The Megilina, or ShadowKiller, itself is an extremely demanding martial art. It is the epitome of mastery of sword and shadow, and never taught to those not worthy.
The ShadowKiller is an essentially defensive style of combat, mixing blade and shadow and transforming them into devastating attacks. However, in this fighting style attacks are considered less important than a top guard position. From this superior defensive stance, attacks can be used without fear of successful counterattacks.
In addition to the violent effects inherent in all martial arts, the style's aesthetic components are as important as its martial effectiveness. His movements have to be analyzed by the attacker, always guaranteeing the opponent's blind spot so that he does not see him.
The technique requires, above all, feint and subtlety, as well as analysis of the blind spot so that your opponent cannot see you. ShadowKillers do not believe in crushing or hard hitting, but rather, they guide their opponents into anticipating an entirely different attack than intended, thus throwing the opponent off balance.
The fight can be done with small melee weapons, such as daggers, or medium-sized ones, such as long swords, and in some groups, they use the nodashi. However, most fighters prefer to practice their art with the sword.
The most obvious drawback to learning the ShadowKiller fighting style is that a character cannot carry a shield and use the style at the same time.
This technique requires great concentration on movement and movement, and the shield gets in the way of the grace and balance needed to successfully use the style.
At the beginning of his training, a ShadowKiller chooses a weapon and thereafter dedicates his life to mastering it, becoming associated with it.
This item is always ornate and beautiful, enhancing the ShadowKiller's appearance in battle. Not only are they easily identifiable by their weapon and feline grace, but ShadowKillers have distinctive tattoos representative of their weapon guild. Each guild has its own unique tattoo that depicts its weapon style through an animal representation.
Long swords are often represented by big cats such as lions or panthers, a whip would be shown as a striking snake, a rapier by a fox, and so on. His Nodachi has no adornment, no design, just a drow ear and a drow tongue dangling from its hilt.

Life on Skal

Post by Erebor » Tue Jan 31, 2023 7:41 pm

Life in SkalJard
On the run, J'air landed in Skaljard. It was a difficult journey by boat, as well as an even harder one to settle in. The Common Tongue was different from the Common Tongue he knew, and he understood virtually nothing the locals spoke.
The elves had a completely different dialect than yours. It took weeks to try to understand what they were saying and talking about.
Gradually he understood both languages, always paying attention and trying to correlate the lines with the actions to learn what they said.
He met a few people there, few helped him and even fewer became friends.
Place of strange people and strange customs.
Where he came from, if someone helped him, he should help in return whenever possible.
Of those, only two remained his friends. Flyndale and Veshurbast. Whenever possible, he will assist them in whatever it takes.
That couple, the coward and Eve. That coward became a spoiled rich kid who at least remembered who carried his body. I will never exchange another word with that one. And Eve, despite being a friend, is out there.
And those two women, Sil and Alaina, I didn't know their names at the time, had both helped him on Skal. He owed them both. However, upon meeting them again in Guldorand, both seemed to no longer remember him. J'air still reciprocates the help, but it seems that the customs of this island are different.
Months spent in Skal and prefers to forget. From that cursed place, it will only take the name of 3 friends who made it there and nothing else.

Espionage in Andunor

Day 1 - Locating the groups and where they meet.

Groups meet at the HUB. Various groups, drow, gnolls, humans, elves, kobolds...

Drow don't seem to rule the city.

Day - 5 Long time hidden

Food starts to run out. The magic of the place starts to get in the way of thoughts. Their water is not the same. The air starts to feel heavy.

Drow do not rule the city.

Kobolds, gnolls and humans are not slaves here.

Day 13 - Focus on the mission

The initial quest starts to get hazy, the mind getting heavier and heavier, my provisions are gone and I'm feeding on leftovers.

I keep writing down their different languages, names, groups and alliances.

I begin to understand their language better.

Staying in the shadows is easier here, stepping out of the shadows on the other hand is harder...

Day 27 - I got caught

I was spying on the Hub when that damn human pulled up beside me. He wouldn't be seeing me, he couldn't.

Shit, saw me.

I tried to run away but was stopped.

I was caught by a gnoll's servant, Kryn. Your master Utari imprisoned me and made me a slave...

Slave again...
