Nazrub'Xul - A wizard in Andunor

After arriving by boat in Andunor Nazrin'Xul got acquainted with the city delivering some simple packages and visiting the various merchants and facilities this new city had to offer. Having fled his home in the greater cit of Menzobrasen it had been some time since he had found true civilization. Although he was perhaps less than happy about the variety of lesser races in the districts, especially though not in chains it was still civilization, and one seemingly ruled by the higher race.

Of course, he asked about the Arcanium, few had time for a new male in the city, however, two beautiful Jabaress did offer him suggestions and so he visited the Arcanum and the City Library to immerse himself in some reading. In hopes, he would find some clues as to the city’s status, players, and pawns and as such give him an advantage in the games no doubt in motion in this new and dangerous city.

This was the beginning of something, as for what Nazrin only knew whatever it was he had to cease it, by any means necessary as lolth commands it.

Tucking a number of tomes' in his pack, Nazrub'Xul takes his leave of the library, making his way to the temple he finds his way inside and kneels before the alter of Lolth, "in lolths name" he mutters and spends time praying to leave his offering of 500 gold, as respect to the spider queen and its faithful in the city.

Having used some of his wealth to make the passage here, he felt it was time to splurge a little and stopped and Khazz store to purchase some gold and silver jewelry, as befitting it was nice to feel some quality upon his body, and as such decided it was time to find a suitable tailor to see him better dressed now he resided in such a fine city.

With a heavy sigh, Naz descended into the Sewers. " is this what has become of me, a sewer rat" from a noble house, a family of wealth to trudging threw sewers killing slaves and vermin. It was dishearting to this drow, and a wizard no less to be stuck with the such a menial task as if he was fresh recruit of the Sorcere or Melee-Magthere. Yet, to suggest anything other than this would allude to his true name and perhaps reward him with a dagger in his back. No, if he was to survive he would need to make a new name in thei city. Starting with slaves and vermin, remaing unoticed and learn the game at hand and oppertunity will presenrt itself to the paticent spider.

Having somehow survived an ordeal within the sewers, the divine.. blessing of his spider queen did see him victorius. Yet, this left a certain distaste in his mouth, as debt is no something he allows. As such, he post haste made his way to the temple, to shed blood and offer gold in penence for his weakness.

After spending some time and a little ritualistic scarification Nazrub"Xul returned to the sewers to ensure his wrath was felt by anything alive or dead still residing below. "In her name."

After having his fill of the sewers Naz made his way to a place with a little more civility, sitting by the fire in the hub he began to poor through his newly quired tomes. Paying particular attention to his new phrasebooks, as more language proficiency usually leads to a greater accumulation of knowledge and access to tomes previously unreadable.

Phrasebook of the Infernal:
Phrasebook of Goblin
Beginners Guide to Enchanting:
Drow Slavers Handbook
Deities: : lolth

A few titles were spent studying, before returning to the Arcanium to read more upon its shelves.

"this is far more my pace, than rats and ... slime"
