The legacy of Trent-Hawkesbie

Post by PorcineAerodrome » Sat Sep 19, 2015 9:25 pm

Einrik Plum, the illegitimate son of Lord Thompson Trent-Hawkesbie, lay lifeless at the portal. The sins of the father claimed the fate of the son.

All those years ago, during Mesmer's reign of the tower, had Thompson bound his genasi soul to an air elemental prince. His extended life had caused many ills; his hubris poisoned many air elementals, even his own childrens' life essence was now drawn into sustaining him.

At Einrik's loss, the Lord Trent-Hawkesbie raised a glass of fine malt whiskey in his Moonshaean castle. "Poor devil. He never was going to be the success that his brother Henry is..."

Somewhere near the Crow's nest, a curious wooden sphere bumps gently against the wooden legs of the walkways above the sea. It is overgrown with barnacles, plants and is rotten. Two very faint light sources are visible, as the craft groans, and slowly sinks into the depths from view.
