Give certain class abilities cooldowns instead of having them as one use per day. Would hopefully encourage players to rely more on abilities than UMD, and make characters feel less generic through availability of special abilities.
Some likely candidates:
Blackguard Bull's Strength
Assassin Invisibility/Ghostly Visage
CoT Divine Wrath
Harper Scout Spells/Abilities (so maybe it'll finally be a class worth taking)
Shadowdancer Shadow Daze
Weapon Master Ki Damage (cooldown for use/day recovery, rather than limit between uses)
It would also be interesting if ability cooldown was based on class levels/primary ability modifier, so they aren't just taken for spam. (Ex: CoT Divine Wrath cooldown is X - CHA mod rounds, so that high charisma allows more frequent use)
