Depending on how much work it would involve, this may be completely off the table before I even start, but...

I always thought a nice touch for the simple 'Light' spell would be colour streams (choose a stream, cast your light in that colour).

I mean, what self-respecting Necromancer casts white light?

Not sure how much work this would be. Small fun little improvement, though. Tentatively approved if it's not a heavy lift.
