Spear 1h/2h feats

If I were to build a char to use a spear and shield, but sometimes to put shield away and use spear as 2h, would the 1h wep feats benefit still, or would I also need 2h wep feats?

Actually, neither. You need the Polearm variant of the feats (e.g. Weapon Focus: Polearm, Weapon Specialization: Polearm, etc.).
Unless you're referring to something else?

Yep! Not a problem.
Polearm is great because likely if you wanted to 1-hand a spear for the -twohand bonus you may as well just use a halberd or trident for the extra +2AB and better base damage.

I was thinking that, but also would be nice to have imp expertise and a shield so I can solo.
