How do I activate spellsword path?

I have all required stats/feats and level. I have spellsword path token feat. How do I pick/activate the path?

By selecting the feat on a spellsword bonus feat level :)

So I just missed it at level 12, can I still do it at level 18(my next bonus feat)? Or did I screw it up.

You can select it later on, no worries :)

Actually encouraged to select it later on due to the fact the bonuses of each path don't really kick in till much later.

U can use -relevel commend, this allow you to level up again in case you made mistakes

yes, you can use the -relevel console command, but I have been asked to use it in a highly discretionary manner so as to not abuse this service, lest it get taken away from all of us...
