Yes? No? Now that store-bought items have been removed, and scribe scrolls has become insanely expensive, what're your thoughts on craftable raise dead items? Suggestions?
They don't have to be things that are easy to make, or are as easy to carry as the scrolls, but it might not be a bad idea to create a few craftable raise options, rather than have your options be limited to "use a loot item" or "hope you don't roll 4 1's in a row at an altar"

Seems like a good idea - but what skill? Books of life would be neat I would think. Some combination of woodworking, alchemy, and maybe artcrafting for gems or something.

Craft phylactery, alchemy, epic spell focus necromancy required?
To attune, it could be used on a character to preserve a portion of their soul (xp) within it?

Cooking. Halfling specific recipe. It's a pie that can only be eaten in the death area. If you eat it you return to life as if resurrected but your body type is changed to the fat one.
edit: bonus use: If you eat it while alive you die. Also. You become fat, still.
