The server doesn't recognize it, there's no help or support out right now and short of uninstalling and reinstalling, your SoL for playing the game until the server updates it.

Note that Steam will auto-update the game to the latest version unless you right click on NWN EE > Properties > Updates and change the automatic updates to "Only update this game when I launch it," and then use the BAT files Morderon provided to launch the game except when you want to update it.

Overall, much easier to go through the Beamdog launcher and just remember not to update until the server has.

By the sound of it, you're running headstart instead of the regular version. Make sure you have "english" selected and not "english head start" when you play from the Beamdog client. You can also just run nwmain.exe directly from your installation folder, outside of Beamdog Client, to prevent any update issues.

I do that with steam^^ Those messages would have gotten me killed in PvE or PvP.
