Idea for Divination (from Discord):

  1. Create craftable and usable (x amount of charges) Map objects in the server that can be populated by Explorers/Rangers
    Maps should show the Map of an area, with resource nodes locations
    Using the Map object (if not in combat) would generate a NUI map of the area it refers to visible to all party members and use up a charge from the object
    Allow them also to be "attached to messages" as one time use
    Map objects - most likely in Carpentry please, it needs a boost of consumables

  2. Provide interaction with Divination:
    Maps objects can be scryed on by Diviners - to detect the current resource nodes in the area
    Such use would use x charges on the map
    if all charges are used map object is destroyed

Effect achieved:

  • Carpentry gets a consumable to sell on a regular basis
  • Explorers/Rangers get an additional cookie to play with
  • Diviners get an additional cookie to play with
  • Generates RP (merchant, shop, Explorator, Diviner)

I got 2 ideas!

1) Share Vision
When cast on a friendly player (if they permit it) it let's them see through your eyes. Could be useful for when going sneaking somewhere or sharing -scry visions with others.

2) Sentry
Let's the caster see through an item. This item could be either placed by casting a spell or crafted. For example you could place this outside of your quarter and check who is on the door when there is a knock.
