I'm OK with Balagarn's getting the short end of the stick.

I'm not certain on whether removing Spell immunity towards 1st level spell is a good thing or a bad thing because balancing often requires removing something and adding on something.
Sure, the Devs can remove Spell immunity towards 1st level spell and not put anything back as replacement but, it stands a possibility that something esle might just be added to replace that if it's approved somehow.

And, most PVPs are so chaotic that it usually doesn't last to the point whereby you're left with just Cantrips.

Nothing is really lost, there no 1st lvl spells worth using in the context of when people are wearing said headband, so I am unsure if it needs to be replaced with something different if removed.

Furthermore, on a specialist. Cantrips can out perform most spells up to lvl 6 slots in context of pvp. Fireball maximized is 90 but reflex for half 45 (same as cantrip on specialist) or non on evasion. Thats with the increased max d6 for fireball going up to 15d6.

darkbolt averages at 49 damage and is subject to an immunity or two for doing no damage.

So considering that you need lvl 6 spell slots to start being on par with specialist caster lvl 27 output on cantrips. I say cantrips are worth something.
