I recently had the rare fortune of revisiting an older version of Arelith from years past alongside a friend. After reflecting on the journey, we’ve decided to share some of my collected screenshots, offering a glimpse into the world as it once was. I hope you enjoy the collection. Feel free to add your own or ask questions!
NOTE: For a frame of reference, the version of Arelith we visited was before the server split with Amia.

Dungeons
Wow, talk about a walk down memory lane! The Kholligan stuff predates even me! Amazing view into the past. Thank you!
I love it. Much of it bears resemblance to Arelith in the AR 30s. Interestingly, there is still a Half-Pissed Pint signboard stuck in an out of bounds area of Brogendenstein, but visible with the tab key. I didn't realise it was such a venerable sign.
Cordor outskirts and Kohlingen kind resembles Amia's. I started playing there after the server split (i think around 2004 or 2005). Then came to Arelith somewhere around 2017.
One short story, and one of my favorite memories about this game is joining Kohlingen Defender's. That was the first ever faction that I joined in an NWN RP server. I think I was 13 or 14 years and kind struggled with the english, because it is not my native language. Regardless of that, I was embraced by that people and enjoyed quite a lot the RP around them.
Cool times and a cool glimpse of the past.

As an old Amia player, from not that many years ago (considering how old our servers are now!) There is a lot of elements that resemble both servers still around. Amia did change up all old names when they moved to EE, so no more Bendir, Guldorand and Kohlingen, no Cordor either!
I finished uploading the last of the screenshots for each area. I hope everyone enjoys it!
Seeing the same Kohlingen that I used to know from Amia in the screens was a chronomantic whiplash

how were you able to get ahold of this old build, and would other people be able to use it? curious to walk about it myself.

What size do I need to keep the screenies to post - I have a few but when I try I get the "file too large" message.

I host my photos on https://imgur.com/ and have never had a size issue as the site auto-coverts when you copy/paste the link marked for forum/message board posting. Hope that helps!

Unfortunately, I don’t have the module. The experience was a spontaneous one-off when I crossed paths with a player familiar with my love of Arelith lore. They generously allowed me to glimpse the past using an old copy of the server, and I in turn, shared that experience here with everyone. Out of respect for the player, I’d rather not name them or bring undue attention their way. Just to clarify, my friend has never been part of the current Arelith team, and the module copy wasn’t sourced from Arelith itself but from before the servers split. No favoritism was involved, nor was any Arelith staff member part of the exchange.
To answer your question directly, if the current Arelith staff gave their blessing, sharing a copy of the module could be possible, but we would need their approval first. Otherwise, we do not feel comfortable releasing something that might cause a long-term issue with the Arelith Team, Amia, or Irongron. I hope that answers your question.
