Make Stacking Optional

Post by Eira » Tue Oct 15, 2019 8:26 am

Multiple times I have crafted an item with a custom description, only to lose it all because there was another of the same type in my inventory. When you drag from a crafting table, it automatically shunts them together, losing anything custom.

Thus, I would suggest, if possible, adding some sort of way to detect if an item is custom-named, that they don't automatically stick together- and if you did want to stack them, that you would have to manually drag them together.

Custom item names and descriptions is a lovely roleplay tool that I'd like to see more of, and I know a few other crafters I know have expressed similar frustration over being unable to carry multiple items of the same type- just with different flavour.

I exist to describe the world around us.

I know this pain all too well, if there is a solution for it...

Partially complete.
Container stored items can now be made to not stack with a rest menu toggle when taken out of said container. (Gems/Scrolls/Heads etc)

Still needs expanded to the basin though as an option I'd say.
