I would like to suggest the idea of allowing Totemic Players to summon creatures/elementals normally, and not as their totem form. By means of making this distinction through the -stream menu.
It would only be allowed if you have learned that stream.
If all streams are learned for the Elementals, an option for Elemental Swarm to spawn as the Elementals rather than the animals would become available as well.
For example, if you summon an Elemental through the Spellbook without a Stream, it will always be the Totem Animal. But if you toggle the respective option in the stream menu, you may choose to make it the Totem or the Elemental.
This would also work for other things like special Dragon Streams.
If you want to summon a Gold Dragon as your Totem, you may do so, and the Totem will have its abilities.
Or, you could toggle the option within the menu, and summon the actual Dragon instead.
Restricting this to streams would make it a rarer capability and thus beneficial to summoning Roleplay. You could even restrict the Toggle option to only become available with GSF or ESF Conj.
Please let me know what you think, and thank you!
