since it's one of the suggestions that were discussed on Discord beforehand, and was met with positive response from people there, i decided to put it up here.
basically, the suggestion is to:
give kobolds racial proficiency with picks (light/heavy, or one of them)
since kobolds are often associated with mining, and even on wiki it is stated that kobold miners take up majority of any tribe, it makes sense for them to have such.

ANOTHER thing that was suggested on discord not by me but by other user (Papi J) which i think also makes sense and i didn't find it previously posted on suggestions board, so here we go:

kobold racial weapon, namely, a pick. maybe heavy pick, +4, with some bonus vs gnomes.

Approved.

I do not believe that Kobolds have picks as a weapon proficiency (yets)
But they do have a racial pick they can make/use that is craftable, as I recall.

Keeping this where it is for now but note made for clarification.
