Today we have the -adventure option that reduces XP gain from kills, but does not stop you from getting writ, skill check or the RPR/tick xp. This means that even if you actively try to avoid getting xp, you will still level fairly quickly at lower levels.

So the suggestion is an optional command that stops all xp gain as long as it is active. Meaning you get 0 xp from any source, and can thus freeze your level without having to see that very tempting, sparkly level-up picture on your avatar.

Seems reasonable. May end up shunting all xp gained into entirely adventure xp, so it isn't 'wasted'. But I think it still does what you want it to then.
