If you removed it from bard, who has to actively invest skill points into it, there really shouldn't just be a free, no investment alternative available as a familiar for every caster able to get such, INCLUDING warlock.

Approved - or at least severely lowered.
If nothing else it'd be nice to see people pick a different familiar.
