Stuck with Warded Package

Took a courier job from Guld to Bendir, to deliver to the trader outside the gates, when I got there, no trader. Since the hawklin that are normally there are gone also, and I can't seem to find her anywhere in the area I assume she has been killed.

Whatever the reason tho, I am stuck with a Warded Package that I can not give to anyone, can not drop, can not put in a trash barrel. Abandoning the Contract does not remove the item.

So now I can't go anywhere that would be even remotely dangerous because I can't run.


Would recommend that abandoning Courier writs should remove the related item from the inventory to avoid this issue.

You should be able to use the item itself to discard it. Right click the item and in the lower right hand side should be an option to use item. Target yourself with that and you will discard the package.
