I just bought one of the new townhouses in the Guldorand Fortress City and the door to go upstairs doesn't have a lock on it. This also means there is no lock between the exterior door and the storage chest. I am not sure if this is normal but from my experience I thought that a locked interior door was provided before the chest, just to prevent slipping in easily while the transition door is stuck open for those couple seconds.
If I am wrong and no lock is normal feel free to close this thread!

Re: Upper Floor Doorway Not Locked in New Guldorand Quarter
I just realized I didn't give the zone name, this is in "Guldorand (Fortress City) Town House"
In addition, the exterior door does not seem to lock from the inside as I have seen typically done for these types of entryway transition houses.

Both of these are normal. Exterior doors aren't locked on the inside, (but are on the outside), and not all quarters have a secondary 'secure' door inside - that is something generally done to avoid people using exploits to gain access, but isn't universal.
