Summoned Succubus

Earlier today, I summoned a Succubus, as a fiend warlock. I cast a Balagarn's iron horn, which tripped the Succubus. Afterwards, the succubus was hostile to me. I dismissed it, and summoned another one, who was also hostile to me.

She's a strong, proud, independant Tana'ri who needs no man hassling her.

That happens to animal companions also. My char's companion was affected by an area effect spell (black tentackles), which was cast by a fellow party member. Animal companion turned hostile on the allied mage.
Prior the update darkness had a similar effect on companions.

Same with familiars. If I cast 'Grease', and my [strike]panther[/strike] kitty runs into the grease to attack, she'll come back and kill me.

Same here...we call my Erinyes "Harlot" so whenever she runs into the grease we just RP it that Harlot got angry about getting all greasy so she came to attack me....and I just summon my Imp, who doesn't seem to run into the grease....Smart little imp!

summons can react the same way to darkness if they don't have ultravision on.(not always though... which is odd *shrug*) They do still tend to listen to commands with the few times I've forgotten ultravision and gotten this bug.

Summons are dumb, make friends with natural intelligence creatures.

I'm 100% sure Ariel has whipped her Succubus (Krasota!) to death without her even reacting. A lot.

Though if someone ever cast Darkness around the old temple at Minmir (where all the horses were subject to Knockdowns and other horrid things) the horses would get all mad.
