The recipe for the Song of Moonlight bastard sword specifies 2x Eagle's Splendor.
I have tried scrolls from my case, scrolls bought from a merchant, freshly-scribed scrolls, and even potions. None of these appear to fulfill the requirements of "2x Eagle's Splendor" for the recipe.
