-parry

Idk if this is possible.

Would you be able to activate a -parry command that causes you to activate a "Parry" action against the next attack your receive, without having parry mode activated ?

So you and your opponent are both attacking, but you can perform parrying actions -and ripostes- in the midst of combat.

Maybe if this was possibly, you could get like 1 parry activation per every 5 skillpoints invested in parry per rest. And you could use this in regular combat, generating ripostes, instead of activating the ultra-bugued and ultra-nerfed parry mode.

Also, if both opponents activate parry simultaneously, they cancel each other to avoid robots dying because they can't divide by zero.
