Mark of Destiny, reveal lives left

As one who thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of diablo 2 in hardcore mode (forced character deletion on death), pretty much all my characters come with MoD... unfortunately I tend to forget how many lives a given char has left and a char's journal seems to get wiped from time to time.

If the MoD could in some way allow you to see how many lives you have left, I'd be grateful.
