Praise the Gnomes! Love the Gnomes! Hug the Gnomes!

Post by Petrifictus »

Once before Arelith I had a discussion with a fellow roleplayer who claimed that gnomes are a "joke race" and they would never offer anything or be involved in any serious stories, and you should just stick with "master races" like humans, dwarves or elves.

My current Arelith-adventures thus far as a gnome with my fellow kin proofs otherwise!
The gnomes has offered me great deep stories/adventures and I've seen sweet characters which will be long remembered in my RP-history. "The Spriggan-saga" has kept me on toes and I'm eager & scared to see how the tale will end for our beloved gnomes.

Kudos to Gnomes:
- Ivory Bushdigger
- Warden "Smith"
- Terto Tarquin
- Lissa Whitehorn
- Vysara Urda
- Wotan Woodberry
(Sorry if I forgot or did not add anybody else, my memory of names is not the best and I mostly remember those who I've interacted most. Be free to add any gnomes left out and offer your praises!)

Thanks man for kudos!!!

Wotan is excellent RPed gnome, one that ties many stories from all corners of arelith into one story good work, hope we have many happy adventures together.

As for gnomes, i have the same path where i was repelled by the gnome lore or looks in this game but RP of player Fraya impressed me so much that i needed to try and oh lord how wrong I been.
I recall time with only 4-5 gnomes on whole server turning into now over 25+, there is no Arelith plot without a gnome ITS MUST HAVE :). I am impressed by individuality of all gnomes but also bounding when it all comes together. As for "The Spriggan-saga" really, we aer all afraid of it and thats awesome! :)

I would extend this kudos to more gnome players:
-Smuth Trickstone
- Antiquity
- Soraya
- S. Mushromfinder
- Turk
- Neblis
- Eel
- "Shovels"
- Saphira Blackstone
- Swoozie
- Periacy
- Rose Truesilver
- Bill
- Gaelqu Ardenflock

Well done and thank you for this great arelith story

Yes, and a Kudos right back at you Wotan.

Even if we have yet to play much with our characters we can always hope for a change in that, each Gnome has something to add to the community, even those that never contact us and which we don't know the names of IC add to the distinct feeling of the Gnomen community.

I could just like Ironfoot chip in with an massive amount of names, but I won't cause the list is so massive. For during the last year, since last september to be precise there has been roughly a hundred gnomes. Some stayed only for a day or a meeting, and some became permanent. But more of those in another Kudos

Bottomline, Gnomes are here to stay, we built something that wasn't there before, and we established that Gnomes are not just characters for comic relief, or just tinkeres, or even just mages. But a broad variety of characters, with depth and doubts, pain and love. And it has totaly been a blast to learn to know each and every one of them.

I'll make a list of special thanks in another topic, and saving it for later. For now, Kudos for all the Gnome.
