Kudos To Those At the Brogendenstein/Guldorand Meeting

Although I am no stranger to political rp in general and Alice herself has been in meetings and done negotiations before, this was the first time that I have ever had a character conduct a meeting as a settlement's top leader. I must say that this was perhaps the most satisfying and fun political rp I have ever had not because my character got what they wanted, but because there was a genuine ic debate that got intense and Alice was challenged thoroughly with questions and criticism. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time and finding myself absolutely enthralled by the intensity of it all. It's the sort of rp that I totally thrive on.

So massive kudos to all present for giving me a real thrill and also giving me a chance to make Alice look like a cool bad*** leader. I can only hope that Alice looked as cool as all of your characters did. Ghestaldt, Falgrim, Ragnhild, Demetrius, Balund, Friggja, Naly, and anyone whose name I might be forgetting you were all just awesome. And of course I must give kudos to Derristan and Eirik for coming and also being awesome. They're both great characters and it would have been boring if just Alice was there to represent Guldorand.

A special shoutout to Friggja for asking the one question that I/Alice hadn't actually anticipated and prepared to answer beforehand, and also for giving me an opportunity that I seized to throw the Thane's own words of wisdom right back at you guys.

Alice's mayorship is off to an exciting start! And I look forward to future moments with Brogendenstein's leaders and Kuldarn and to whatever other intense and fun moments the rest of the server challenges Alice with.
