Currently, the courier quests on Skal have the best pay off vs distance travelled out of all the other ones on Mainland Arelith. I believe the tundra one should receive less reward (about 2500 instead of 3500) and Trapper's Camp one should receive 3000 instead of 3500.
We can take the Minotaur writ for example, its reward is 3000 gold, while having to travel further from Trapper's Camp and fight through all the minotaurs. There aren't as many incentives to go through the old writs unless it's for grinding or harvesting resource purposes.
