MondeArt!
Hey all! I thought enough time had passed that I begin a new thread... from MondeArt? to MondeArt!
I'm really excited to share my work with this community, and hope to be putting out more as time goes on.
Edit: I really love drawing character portraits so please send me requests if you’re interested!
I felt it was time to graduate from pencil lead and paper, and take on a new medium. So, this is my third attempt in Photoshop, I actually use Krita (which is a free service, that I highly recommend artists to check out) - and boy-oh-boy has it been an adventure trying to get used to this COLOR thing... depth is proving to be a little tricky for me.
So anyhow... Here's a portrait of what I imagine Aila Tylen Dan'ethe, the character I'm currently playing to look like... somewhat.
All critiques are very welcome, and appreciated - as I'm still learning how to work with this "new age" medium.

Always great to see players producing art based on their experience here.
Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Lovely piece. Are you working with a tablet and pen?

Re: MondeArt!
I love the colors, especially the hair, and the detail to the eyes. The crooked smile seems appropriate, too.
The one bit of constructive criticism I'd try to offer is that the jaw seems a little wide for an elf - but the piece is leaps and bounds beyond anything I could assemble, so I'm not really in a place to be offering advice, either!

Bane's tyranny is known throughout the continent, and his is the image most seen as the face of evil.

Re: MondeArt!
Thanks everyone!
@Eyeball yeah, I am!
@Aelryn Bloodmoon lol, I stared at that chin line for like an hour thinking the same thing. I'll probably try a re-do for that very reason.
And finally, and long overdue. @TriadDraykin I had so many ideas on how to approach drawing Angela - it was really difficult. She's so complex, and has been around for as long as I've been playing. She's been a surrogate mother, a fierce advesary, a wise and patient mentor, and so much more! Thank you for always putting in quality content and being so inclusive. I hope I didn't butcher this.

Re: MondeArt!
Hooooly oh my gods damn it all to hellfire and back, that's bloody amazing. That is -very- -very- well done, I feel like that would have been something I should be paying a commission for... Thank you!
Alia: The uncanny knack of Angela Amana to make the otherwise perpetually well-mannered girl lose her temper and be HORRIBLY ASHAMED afterwards.

Re: MondeArt!
EDIT: I've made some technique improvements in the last few days so I re-did Aila's character portrait with a more clear vision.

Re: MondeArt!
Another long overdue - probably wouldn't still be around without this PC.
I decided to try and draw him in the perspective of what I imagine the (at the time) Hoarran looked like when Nyx first mouthed him off in the Nomad.
Marcus Demarin / Do I kill her, or marry her?

And this is why I'm a fan of "Artist's Choice."
The expression, the little trails of magic in the air... Thank you! It's very humbling and enjoyable to see a character brought to life like this.

Re: MondeArt!
Hoping to start working on a piece that closer to the lines of what we discussed but I already had this in the works!
His pout is more pouty than I originally intended. The further I got in the more certain I became that he was probably trying to enchant that damn belt here.

Thank you! Paint is definitely what I'm most comfortable with - water color and acrylic.
