Epic Abjuration Ward Feat - Radial Menu Version Fails

Description of Bug Experienced:
Casting the Epic Spell Focus: Abjuration ward and the Glyph of Warding spells produces no effect.


Radial Feat
Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Radial>Special Ability>Wizard>ESF:A>Ward - Protect>Click on Area or Self
Rest
Radial>Special Ability>Wizard>ESF:A>Ward - Teleport>Click on Area or Self

Expected Result:
Produce a large circular ward on self or area.
5 Components used
Cannot use again until Rest

Actual Result:
Combat log shows Angela Amana, no animation or action occurs.
No Components used
Cannot attempt again until Rest, Both spell uses in Radial are 0.

This is currently not working correctly. I let someone on the team know last week. I started testing it at their request a few days ago and I've submitted my results.

I just tested this out with -ward teleport on the surface server. -yoink, -teleport, and -teleport create could not work in the area.

I also tested out -ward, and it blocked scrying as expected. Scryers DO still receive a message when scried that they are being scried.

Does it only not work when you use the feat option? The text commands work.

Edit: Using the teleportation feat in a -ward teleport area causes the teleportation to still fail.

It doesn't work when I use the feat options, no, and then when I try -ward and -ward teleport, there's no reaction at all, not even a menu.

Just had someone else try it, and it worked for them. Special Abilities>Wizard>ESF>Teleport>Click on self works for them, fails for me.

EDIT: Rest and -ward teleport worked for me. And so did -ward, but in a strange way. Going to edit my original post to include everything now.

Spell cannot be cast from radial menu even though an icon appears.
Spell can only be cast using the chat command -ward teleport


Upper Portal Chamber, 2 way portal, C&P server

Unable to teleport into Upper Portal Chamber from Hub Portal (same server) Working as intended.

Able to teleport into Upper Portal Chamber from Treadstone Portal (Surface Server). Not working as intended.

Able to use Upper Portal Chamber Portal to leave. Not working as intended.



Sibyad Ouskirts Portal, 1 way portal, Distant Shores Server

Unable to teleport to Sibyad Outskirts Portal from Manzil Apartments Portal (Same server). Working as intended.

Able to teleport to Sibyad Outskirts Portal from Treadstone Portal (Surface Server) Not working as intended.

Unable to use spell Teleport to leave. Working as intended.



More testing is required. My testing got interrupted and my Epic Abjurer is offline for the week.

I think you've always been able to leave permanent portals, such as the Tower's portal.

Also, for the sake of amusement, here's the second half of the report I made before I figured out what was going on

Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Cast -ward or Glyph of Warding in Skull Crags (Guldorand) Lower Cavern by the northern alcove.
Casting elsewhere seems to be normal, so far.

Expected Result:
Creates a normal-radius ward effect

Actual Result:
Creates a miniature ward, about the size of touch radius

Additional Information/Notes
Haven't been able to reproduce this elsewhere, but it's an expensive thing to be able to test, and I only have the one wand.
The -ward and -ward teleport commands work as expected if the Radial hasn't been attempted

The bloody ward was low enough in the area I couldn't see the outer ring! It took me way too long to figure this out.

I think you've always been able to leave permanent portals, such as the Tower's portal.

I'm not sure about that. I've seen both the Hub and Upper Portal Chamber portals blocked before.

Can confirm--ward blocks all teleportation, including from permanent portals.
