Would like to recommend this sorta become a feature. Perhaps Shadow Conjuration and Nightmare could replace the shadow summon ability?
Also, if Nightmare does get added, maybe make it work without eldritch blast, since it would be more likely for a feylock to use it for RP reasons. (curse a player without revealing they are a warlock) but also because as it stands, if you hit a sleeping target with it, the eldritch blast wakes them before the spell triggers.

It's been raised before, I think, but no response was given. I'd recommend checking with your friendly local DM before using new spells in case it is considered an unintentional exploit.
[I certainly agree some of these are very themeatic and should be kept.]
Temporarily back to Arelith and currently 'Hanna'.

Maybe just a Feylock issue, maybe a bug with the spell.

Edit: I'm a muppet and didn't read the early posts. Didn't see you'd already answered. Never mind, carry on.

Hello ActionReplay. Is it possible for Nightmare to apply both EB and its normal damage? Since as it currently stands, it only applies EB damage. Thus there is no real reason to ever use nightmare on a feylock.ActionReplay wrote: Fri Feb 07, 2020 2:04 pm This is inteded.

15d10 spammable damage would be rediculously overpowered.Szaren wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2020 3:54 pmHello ActionReplay. Is it possible for Nightmare to apply both EB and its normal damage? Not really, because each time you cast it, the foe wakes up and has to fail another Sleep will save to be affected. And if you think 15d10 (once per failed sleep will save) is ridiculously overpowered, I have some news about fiendlocks for you. The thing is, Feylocks might get Nightmare right now, but it's not doing anything since EB procs before the damage from nightmare applies.Apokriphos wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2020 5:31 pm15d10 spammable damage would be rediculously overpowered.Szaren wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2020 3:54 pmHello ActionReplay. Re: Warlock gaining Eyebite, bug or intended?
Hasted Sleep + Eldritch Blast + Nightmare +Eldritch Blast spam would be OP. Sure the enemy wont fail the save against sleep every time, but often enough.
Besides, I am unsure how easy it would be to cause the blast to trigger after only one spell. If they make it trigger after all spells, sleep will result in the targets being woken instantly by the blast. Tweeking it for just one spell seems potentially overly complex, and I certainly prefer the option of removing the blast entirely so that a Warlock can curse other players in public without the flashy effects and eyeglow giving them away.

That would work as well.ActionReplay wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2020 10:50 pm Yeah I think we'll just remove the Blast from Nightmare.
