Tower of the Unsealed

Post by Righteous Purge »

I absolutely love this area. It has amazing potential if the race becomes a little more active. In my personal opinion, I think the portal in the middle should act much like the Brog village portal, where only the specific race can attune to.

This would make it be much more active and useful as a retreat of sorts, which is what they typically should probably be doing.

Otherwise, hopefully strong RP can manage to grow or liven up the place. The current quarters, while amazing, are somewhat difficult because of the walk too. The portal would help liven it up, potentially.

Having visited as a non-DI PC (and documenting it in secret to preserve the race's secrecy) I agree that it's awesome, but could do with a little playability help. If it were accessible via a race-locked portal to and from Skal's surface that'd add a little something, even perhaps connecting to a unique DI-based portal system dotted around the archipelago that doesn't require attuning. A DI could bring friends through via a dialog option (like the slime temple entrance focus stone).

The quarters are a little threadbare and aren't race-locked. I think race-locking their purchase, and adding a few more with an alien scholarly aesthetic could go a long way to making a home base for exploring the world beyond the Great Seal.
